There are lulls in any business, but when you're a freelancer, it can be dangerous to have too many days off. How to work online and make some real money.

Everyone needs to make money and some people choose to get extra money with a side income online. Working online affords the user the ability to make his own schedule, possibly do the work in his/her pajamas, leaving the work any time they please. There’s no boss to push buttons, getting work out or giving orders. It can be a good way to make a living.

Being a freelance star is great, but one has to be able to create their own work. They have to find the people who need their services, and work doesn’t come steadily in, at first. It takes a while to build up clientele that gives consistent return orders, and gain a good business reputation.

Before making the freelance switch in any profession, make sure to do the homework before giving up a day job. In case the particular profession doesn’t provide constant work, the freelancer should have alternative sources of income that can be worked at any time. Multiple streams of Internet income will keep a person afloat.

Some Websites to Peruse for Part-Time Income Ideas

Online second income isn’t hard to find. For example, there are companies that pay people to advertise their products or write their press releases and a lot more. There’s a unique website called Fiverr.com that people can sign up with and offer services or products for five dollars.

People can also get freelance services and products for five bucks, too. This site is easy to use and all anyone needs is a PayPal account so they can get paid and make payments readily. People post their five dollar deals and other people buy them.

One person’s offer: “I will write a 400-word press release for $5,” or, “I will make a jingle for your business for $5,” or even, “I will call your mom for $5.” People offer all kinds of things, and some are pretty bizarre (which makes them fun to scroll through), but all are legit offers.

Sponsored Tweets is another site that pays people to post their ads on Twitter. All a person needs to participate in this one is a PayPal account and a Twitter account - a Twitter account with lots of followers can be built fairly easily and quickly. As side jobs go, this one makes small amounts, but any amount is more than zero.

Some of the advertisers pay as much as 36 cents per ad posted, and some for only a few cents, but all those cents add up. The user can build up a sum in their account and then download the total (or as much as they want of it) into their PayPal account any time. Another small earner for a second income online, but it all adds up.

How to Get Work Online; Think Outside the Box

Another way to make good, additional income for someone who can write is CopyPress.com. They hire copy writers to write about everything under the sun and they pay monthly with no minimum payout amount. Pay is according to the number of words and starts out at a penny per word. But don’t let that discourage the effort, because if the work is good, the worker gets raises per word.

For instance, a writer might begin at a penny per word, and three months later they could be making a nickel per word. Work is aplenty there and the editors are nice. Sherry L. works there and she made $900 her first month, only working a few hours a day - and that‘s not an unusual case, lots of people there do it.

No matter what the desired profession is, don’t give up and don’t be afraid to step out of the ‘comfort zone’ that’s always been there. Try new things and have several streams of income coming in. Don’t depend on any one account to make the living wage; multiple sources are best. Good luck and good working!
